  • Routines and tasks: Routine names, schedules, items, and completion records you create within your family.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to provide the Acorn family routine management service:

  • Authenticating your account and managing your session.
  • Displaying and syncing routines, tasks, and stats across your family.
  • Sending push notifications for routine reminders and family activity.
  • Generating completion statistics and streaks for your family.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Row-level security (RLS) policies ensure that you can only access data belonging to your own family.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only shared with members of your family within the app. No analytics or advertising SDKs are used.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed, including your profile, family data (if you are the owner), routine completions, and device tokens.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app by going to Settings and selecting “Delete Account.” Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. If you are the family owner, deleting your account will also delete the entire family and all associated data.

7. Children's Privacy

Acorn is a family app where parents create and manage family accounts. Children do not create their own accounts. Parents are responsible for the data entered on behalf of their family members.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data through the app at any time.
  • Update your profile information in Settings.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
